THERE'S A LITTLE BIT OF COWBOY IN EVERYTHING WE DO AT SIGNOR VINEYARDS

The Signors are a family of farmers, ranchers, and horticulturalists with a long history of working Texas lands. Signor Vineyards carries on that tradition in the Texas Hill Country, cultivating an appreciation of Texas agriculture for generations to come.

OUR PROPERTY

Here at Signor Vineyards, you will find an array of experiences and amenities to suit any occasion.

Take a leisurely stroll around the property with a glass of your favorite vintage in hand, capturing memories and selfies along the way, including a stop at the iconic Wine Barn – the ultimate photo-op spot.

For those who need a bite to eat, Joanna's Market awaits – a quaint farmhouse boutique offering delicious grab-n-go bites and unique essentials for the home or ranch.

Signor Vineyards embodies the rich history and traditions of the Signor family, a sixth-generation Texan family of farmers, ranchers, and horticulturists. With a deep passion for their craft and a commitment to preserving the beauty of the Texas Hill Country, the Signor family has created what many consider to be the most beautiful vineyard in Texas.

OUR VINEYARDS

Signor Vineyards is planted high on a natural bluff at the union of the Pedernales River and Grape Creek. The proximity to water results in a natural cooling effect in the summer and contributes to less risk of damaging freeze in the winter.

Additionally, we have preserved most of the native trees and grassland around the estate, which help shield it from high winds and severe weather. Our vines are well-kept and tidy while still preserving the natural charm of native Hill Country flora.

All of our Estate grapes are hand-harvested by the on-site vineyard crew. These are the same specialists who maintain the blocks throughout the year and growing season. They are intimate with our varietals and pay close attention during harvest to pick only the best of what our Estate vineyard offers. It is common for us to make multiple picking days in the same block to ensure peak phenolic ripeness.

Our Estate vineyard is comprised of varieties of red grapes that grow best in our meso-climate. Mourvedre, Sangiovese, and Montepulciano for lighter-bodied, fruit-driven wines. Tannat, Tempranillo, and Touriga Nacional for heavier, more rustic expressions.

We are regularly trying new things and expanding our vineyard plantings to explore new viticulture practices. Our facility is a year-round ecosystem that includes livestock and agriculture. Longhorns greet you at the front entrance alongside horses and other cattle. We feed grape stem waste to our cows and have pollinator gardens in spring. At Signor Vineyards, tending the land is year-round work and always evolving.
